Gaylord Country Club的点评
点评：I am writing to formally complain about a deeply distressing experience my group and I encountered during our recent visit to your club. We traveled approximately three hours from Sterling Heights, Michigan, with the intention of enjoying a weekend of golfing, but instead faced blatant racism and unprofessional behavior from one of your staff members.
On the day of our visit, we were the only Indian group present, surrounded by predominantly white patrons. The lady at the counter singled us out unfairly, accusing us of not being skilled at golf and holding up other players. In reality, we were courteously allowing multiple groups to play through ahead of us to avoid any delays. Her attitude was extremely rude, entitled, and appeared to stem from white privilege, making us feel unwelcome and discriminated against based on our ethnicity.
When we attempted to address the issue and request a refund, she initially refused outright. After prolonged arguments, she only provided a partial refund for the golf timing fee, excluding the costs for the golf balls and tees we had purchased from your pro shop. This left us feeling not only humiliated but also financially shortchanged.
As a country club that should promote inclusivity and enjoyment for all guests, this kind of discriminatory conduct is unacceptable and has no place in a recreational facility. Our outing, which we had looked forward to as a relaxing weekend activity, was completely ruined, and we were forced to leave prematurely.
Never visit this awful and racist place again.
