点评：Worden Park is a beautiful, well-maintained space and a real community asset. The playground is excellent — large, modern, and clearly designed with families in mind.
However, it is extremely disappointing that the ice cream van and kiosk are priced at a level that excludes many of the very families the park is meant to serve. Public parks should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford inflated refreshment prices.
When a family day out already comes with costs, charging excessive prices for basic treats like ice cream feels unreasonable and out of touch. One example of a tub with one scoop and flake £4 .... not very accurate in its description! Disgraceful !
It undermines what should be an inclusive, welcoming environment.
Worden Park has everything it needs to be outstanding, but fair and realistic pricing would make a significant difference and better reflect its role as a community space.
