Disappointing Visit at Toast Winery in FLX.

点评：My wife and I made an hour and a half drive from Rochester on a Thursday to have the pickle and wine pairing. The server at the tasting bar told us they only do the pickle pairing on Fridays and Saturday. I told her about our long trip for the sole purpose of their pickle pairing and that didn't change her mind. I could see how it might be an interruption if they were busy, but it was 12:30 and there were only 2 other customers in the entire place. She said if she prepared the pairing for us then everyone else would want one. There were only 2 other people there! Plus, they would be using the pickles the next day according to her. So, opening a jar of pickles the day before you plan on using them is a big deal?? We walked out. I had been there before for a tasting and their wines are nothing special, but the pickle pairing is unique and the only reason I wanted to take my wife down there. On that Thursday the Toast representative had a chance to either gain a customer for life or lose a customer for life. For the lack of a little effort she chose to take the loss. Her response to us, taking into account they were not busy at all, tells you how much they value their customers. I valued their product (the pickle pairing) enough to drive 1.5 hours so my wife could enjoy it. They didn't value us enough to take the extra 5 minutes it would take to assemble the pairing.
