Charming village, lovely architecture, loads of pubs, shops etc. Free parking.

点评：This charming village lives up to its name with its 3 miles long Main Street.
However most of the pubs and shops are clustered in a compact area with both (yes there are two) stately homes close by.
The country park and brewery are a bit further out at the Southern edge of the village.
Well equipped with a wide range of, mostly independent, shops, pubs and cafes. Two Indian restaurants and, unusually, a fish & chip shop doubling as a Chinese take away.
The architecture is fascinating, Tudor to Edwardian and everything in between.
Unrestricted free parking throughout the village.
Pleasant walks in to open countryside nearby.
No obvious attractions for children but if, like us, you live in a small village with no amenities, having so much choice within walking distance is wonderful.
