'Quixote' is another clever hit for Two Planks.

点评：There is no better way to spend 85 minutes on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon in July than outdoors at Two Planks theatre. They really are the best in Nova Scotia.
Today's show was Quixote - a hearty re-imagining of the 400yo book of adventures by Cervantes, featuring the brilliant Burgandy Code as Don Quixote, and the perfectly matched Santiago Guzman as sidekick Sancho Panza. But their un-trusty steeds also deserve a mention - quite life-like, they were.
The highlight, though, was probably the sword-fight with the 'giants.' Even knowing the ending in no way spoilt the show as director Ken Schwartz used metre-tall puppets to cleverly double the silliness of Man v Windmill. It's a shame the puppets were only used for this scene - they really were brilliant!
The scene with the lion was also clever, and featured some unexpected light 'relief'!
All in all, an excellent play by the always reliable people at Two Planks.
