IDIVE MAKADI BAY is rated as not just a 5 STAR CENTRE but a 5 STAR INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (IDC (next to equal with Career Development Centre CDC)
There are many PADI 5 star Resort/Palm dive centres representing PADI but very few PADI 5 Star IDC or CDC centres!
IDive offers all levels of PADI scuba diver activities and a blossoming PADI Free-driver accessibility and training. All quality assured by a PADI Course Director - with a full range of certified PADI Master Instructors, Speciality Instructors, Open Water Instructors & Dive Masters to not only uphold diver safety but increasingly encourage pro-active "Green Eco" scuba and Free-diving during your dives via this entre
The centre has an extensive range of in house scuba equipment to hire should you not travel with your own kit. This is frequently renewed and always well serviced
The team is led by the owners Carlo & Erika and in addition to the Instructor team there is an excellent shore based team, manning the equipment store, the replenishment of compressed air dive cylinders dive belts - wet suits masks - fins- all to cater for all ages of diver needing scuba kit
Assistance accessing the sea is just very short walk just seconds from the centres kit up benches. But shout you need assistance that is readily given
Both 12l & 15l size aluminium DIN valve cylinders are available wit standard air fil 21% and (Nitrox for certified divers) with a standard pressure fill of 200bar
The immediate area of Makadi Bay has 12 dive sites with 24 variations of dive. A dive time varies from about 40 minutes to around 1 hour in time. Depths of dive to suit Scuba diver, Open Water diver, Advanced Open Water divers with Junior variations
With Instructors/guide from the beach (Independent of a guide dives, beach only. Boat dives are led by a guide
A choice of 3 regular dive times, with an early morning dive a possibility as an option!
Night dives are not permitted by local regulations
For wreck dive enthusiastic (Qualified) divers do enquire if a days excursion the "The Salem Express" is being booked during your stay
