点评：I’ve golfed almost my entire life and golfing at the Royal Laurentian was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
The maintenance of the course is atrocious - tee boxes completely hacked up, almost every fairway has several dead patches on it, and the maintenance crew do not make way for golfers to play through.
All this pales in comparison to the inexcusable disposition of the staff. There is seemingly a disinterest and/or lack of interpersonal skills exercised by the staff at the Royal Laurentian regarding basic interaction with other people - this was reflected by the staff in the clubhouse, the starter, and the course marshal. The course marshal could not control the pace of play whatsoever, the clubhouse staff conducted itself as if they had other things to do even though there was no one else around, and the starter made us wait for our power cart without explanation.
The course itself is most definitely being disserviced by the staff that work there because the course is very picturesque with it being in the Laurentian Mountains. However, we will never revisit this golf course again because our experience was almost entirely negative due to the clubhouse attendant, starter, and course marshal’s dispositions.
