点评:Taragona is beautiful and has lots to offer. There is a major downside but I will address this later. Upon arrival, via train, you are greeted with amazing views and old roman architecture. Stroll around gorgeous Spanish streets and enjoy the lovely shops.
The downside... Strange men hanging around the train station. I had lunch with my family at McDonald's and a young man sat outside with three other men were being loud and obnoxious. One looked at my 11 year old daughter and said something in Spanish. I wasn't sure what it was so when I got back to the hotel I asked the receptionist and repeated.the words I had heard. I was told that the words meant "white s****g". I think the young man was trying to provoke a reaction from me but I wasn't sure what he had said so I didn't act. But if I had understood and reacted then I felt those young men were looking for trouble and maybe even violence. The men hanging around the train station on their phones are none native in appearance and were also looking at my wife and daughter in a creepy way.
There is also a lot of graffiti reading "tourists not welcome" or "tourists go home".
I would recommend a trip to the city itself but have your wits about you as you walk around certain areas, especially if you are traveling with children.
I personally will not be visiting again because of these issues.
