点评:My Wife and I were staying in Perissa and went for a trip on the land train which brought us to its final stop, just outside the tomato museum. We hadn’t planned on going tomato museum but thought we may as well seen as though it was there when we got off.
We weren’t really sure what to expect but thought it might be a little boring because how much is there really to know about tomatoes….
We were pleasantly surprised by the tour and had a great time!
It cost €12 each and you get a device to walk around with that guides and tells you the history about the tomato factory. It’s really interesting and not too long of a tour. At the end of the tour you get to press your own tomato can to keep as a souvenir and choose a label for it (cans are only decorative and don’t have any tomatoes inside). Then you get to try some tomato paste and tomato chutney. Both of which are delicious.
We also bought some bits from the gift shop there too.
I would definitely recommend doing this tomato museum tour.
