点评：We had a great afternoon on a lovely summers day. It’s changed a lot since we last came many years ago.
Firstly, it’s free! The Myths & Machines exhibition was intriguing.
Then the Oudolf Field garden blew us away! It was so unusual with large clumps of fantastically colourful plants, carefully joined one to another, providing a palette of colour.
We had the two course lunch (£22) in the DaCosta restaurant which was perfect, delicious and good portions. Although we had to wait an hour for our pasta dishes even though there were very few customers. Later, we had a coffee and cake in the Roth Bar before leaving. Although they forgot to bring the coffee, had to get it myself, no apology! Lots of staff everywhere, who didn’t make the service particularly efficient.
However, all in all a great afternoon experience. We would recommend it.
