Gojiraiwa Kanko - Day Tours (East Shiretoko)的点评
点评：Ok - initially we had an issue with the company - as our tour was cancelled - with limited reason given - just down to weather/sea conditions. Both our 9am and 1pm tours were cancelled.
We persisted and tackled the challenging Shiretoko Pass to return to Rausu and try again and I'm so glad we did.
We did a tour and despite it being very cold and overcast, it was a highlight of our trip. A number of different tour companies headed out and like previous reviewers have mentioned, it was only about 20 mins from shore, that we encountered the killer whales!!! In the couple of hours, we saw about 30 animals.
As the boats can not get too close, the decision is up to the skipper as to where we "park". Our skipper was well experienced and got us in an excellent position. A number of whales came super close to our boat, including 3 females and a baby.
I'm so glad we persisted - if your tour is cancelled and you have the time - try again - you won't be disapointed!
