点评：I spent two nights in a cabin at the KOA Mount Rushmore. Adjacent to the campground is a fantastic trail ride operation called The Stables at Palmer Gulch.
Stables at Palmer Gulch manages upwards of 100 horses. The guides and the management pay extremely close attention to safety and to ensure everyone has a positive experience. They methodically match each rider to a horse that will deliver the best experience. The rides leave from the barn directly into the Black Hills of South Dakota that showcase stunning views of mountain ranges and the forests that make up the Black Hills.
There is an on-trail photo opportunity that is offered by Maysa Oakley. She does a superb job taking memorable photos.
If you are anywhere near the Mount Rushmore area, I would highly recommend you take a few hours to enjoy horseback riding in the Black Hills with The Stables at Palmer Gulch.
