Great day out to let the kids have a go at fishing and a good feed yourselves

点评：Excellent day fishing for my 12 year old. Also other pools for the more experienced fishermen/person .
The guy at reception sets up the rod for you if you aren’t sure how to (been a long time since I fished) and is a great help. Really cheap to fish, £7.50 for small pool as we bought our own small fishing pole from go outdoors and only around £5 to hire rods. We just fished the lake outside the cafe and caught 7 small fish and had loads of bites in the 5 hours that we stayed. We had food from the cafe which was also well priced and really good quality. Cakes are also really good and very big. Easy to stay here for a full day. All thoroughly enjoyable family day, even if you’re not into fishing. The kids can get on with it while you sit with a coffee 😁
