Great day visiting Coyuca Lagoon

点评：Roberto was our guide when we visited Acapulco in 2023. We’re back for another visit and today he took us to Coyuca Lagoon. He met us at our hotel and drove us to our destination in a very comfortable van. He had water, sodas, lemonade and jamaica tea in a cooler for us. He would’ve packed cerveza and margaritas, but we asked him not to.
Roberto helped us with our Spanish (he’s a natural teacher) and told us about areas as he drove. The lagoon was beautiful, peaceful and very quiet. Our boat guide took us around part of the lagoon and up the mouth of the Coyuca river. The variety and number of waterfowl was wonderful. We’d never seen so many pelicans.
Returning to shore we were able to release a couple of just hatched green sea turtles into the ocean. A nice lunch at Dos Vistas restaurant was included.
I don’t know when we’ll return to Acapulco, but when we do, I’ll contact Roberto first.
