Hidden Falls at Sombrio Beach

点评：One of the most interesting places I’ve recently visited. Can be reached within 22 minute drive from Port Renfrew to the Parking Lot of Sombrio Beach. The walk going to the beach is heavily forested with lush green pine trees most of which are covered by moss typical of a rainforest.
It’s late June, and the weather is perfect for a summer retreat hence a lot of campers lined their tents near the shoreline. The waves are very inviting for surfers, saw some surfers during the visit. The shoreline is decent enough, mostly almost naturally polished pebbles, I recommend footwear for this. Since this is a National Park, it’s not perfectly maintained, a lot of kelps that were washed ashore are kinda smelly.
But the falls that is tucked in the woods is the highlight. It’s a real hidden gem. Easily missed unless you really are eager to find it. Prepare for a nice shot for this.
