点评：We recently visited the low ropes course for the first time, and our experience was less than satisfactory due to the behaviour of the instructor, Kris. My 5-year-old was extremely excited and shared his love for climbing, mentioning that he usually climbs without a harness. Kris responded rudely, stating, "Well, you're not at home so you need to wear a harness," without showing any interest in what my child was saying and hurriedly putting my sons harness on.
To make the situation more understandable and positive for my son, I rephrased Kris's statement, explaining that while it's wonderful he loves climbing, special places like this require harnesses for safety. Kris acknowledged my intervention with a "thank you," the initial impression was already tainted.
First impressions are crucial, especially with children, and this one was disappointing. It's essential for instructors to communicate with kindness and patience. My children (aged 5 and 3) were respectful to the adult and deserve to be spoken to with some level of respect and kindness, especially seeing as I had paid for this experience.
