Lostwithiel Museum的点评
点评：All my reviews to date are positive. If somewhere disappoints, I don't bother. On this occasion I'm making an exception. Lostwithiel was the ancient capital of Cornwall - should be worth a visit? My advice is don't bother.
Having driven around for a while, I couldn't find a single carpark sign, and the on street parking was parked up. There was a community car park on the main road, also parked up with, I was told, residents cars. Maybe local businesses are doing OK without passing trade even outside school holidays, so good for them. I suspect that isn't the case.
Moving on to the nearby Restomel castle (English Heritage) the guide in the shop cheerfully took payment before advising us that the toilets had been disconnected by South West Water.
The castle itself, although a ruin, was pretty impressive, and in nicer weather we'd probably have spent more time there.
In summary (Lostwithiel community council take note) brewery: party. Enough said?
