Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village的点评
点评：I recently visited the Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village with high hopes of supporting an elephant sanctuary. However, my experience was deeply troubling. While the facility presents itself as a sanctuary, I observed conditions that are concerning for the elephants’ welfare.
Many elephants were confined to enclosures, which undermines the sanctuary’s promise of a safe haven. Moreover, I witnessed staff using claw sticks on the elephants, a practice that raises serious ethical questions about the treatment of these majestic creatures. This approach to handling them does not align with the compassionate care one would expect from a true conservation effort.
It’s disheartening to see a place that claims to protect elephants instead subjecting them to such treatment. I cannot recommend Kenyir Elephant Conservation Village as a safe or ethical environment for these animals. I hope improvements are made for the sake of the elephants and their welfare.
