A must visit for anyone doing wine tours in Willamette.

点评：I wonder how it feels to be surrounded by wines that bear your name. Not your family name — but your first name. That’s the one question I didn’t ask Solena when she greeted us at the vineyard that bears her name. Her father is one of the most famous winemakers in the Valley and the pictures of the two of them making wine adorn the tasting room.
All this would have been just a nice experience if the wines were not incredible. Thankfully — they were just that. We started with the Rose which was “surprising”. Not at all your typical French-style Rose. Still bone dry but with floral notes and a complexity that is uncommon in our experience. This is a sipping Rose — not just a “sit on the patio on a hot day” Rose.
Then, of course, we moved onto the Pinot Noirs. Each better than the prior. We started with the current vintage and then stepped back 10 years to 2014 just to see how the wine matures over time. WOW! This is why you visit a vineyard and not just a wine store. What a great experience.
Highly recommended! No wonder they consistently get scores in the 94-96 range.
