Edelweiss Village + Resort的点评
点评：I booked four nights at Edelweiss Village for late August 2025. We checked out by 10:00 am the first morning. While the chalet itself was fine, the location was extremely disappointing. While the photos and video on the website are carefully framed and cropped to make it appear as though the chalets are nestled in a quiet mountain setting, the reality is that there is a freeway literally a stone’s throw below our unit, with traffic lights and noise from the town all right in front of the “resort” (see the resort-supplied photo accompanying this listing--clouds obstructing the freeway/town below). In fact, there was a small jar labeled “Clean Earplugs” (used, but clean!) on the bathroom counter to block-out the freeway noise. I’m 63, and have traveled to numerous countries around the world, staying in many nice resorts and vacation rentals. Truly, my wife and I cannot recall an accommodation that has been as dramatically misrepresented in its marketing material as Edelweiss Village. Even having been told by the booking company that the cancelled three nights may be non-refundable (there were other units available each of those nights; no business was turned-away), we left by 10:00 am the first morning for a condo in Canmore. The prospect of a “vacation” above a freeway in a rather sad setting was not my idea of a vacation. Traveler, beware.
