Canoë Explorando Dordogne的点评
点评：The 22km route from Grolejac to Vézac Bridge was the highlight of out 2 weeks in the Dordogne. Mid August = super busy on the river but there were still plenty of serene moments too.
We were told that we couldn't book in advance and arrived 10 minutes after they opened to be told all the canoes were booked. You can book, but by phone only. Fortunately there were two, two seat kayaks left and they were fine (slightly more expensive). It was £99 for four of us and worth every penny.
We left at 10am and arrived just before 4pm. We stopped for a picnic and for a couple of swims too, so a decent, steady pace with plenty of floating about to take in the views.
Incredibly scenic, great fun and would highly recommend. Price included buoyancy aids, a big tub to keep valuables/dry things in, and the coach back to the start.
It was a bit chaotic at the end as all the hire companies seem to end up at the same place and it wasn't clear where to wait etc. but we figured it out.
Bonus for this company is that you launch directly from their site (no bus transfer to a launch point) and the first km is quiet before the other providers hit the water.
