A pretty and easy walk.
Savage River Loop Trail的点评
点评：Really easy walk up one side of the river then back the other side. Pretty walk with lots of opportunities to see wildlife. We saw a moose on the hill as well as Dall sheep and a hoary Marmot but not a grizzly although I’m not sure I wanted to see one on the path. They do advise that you may well meet one so always carry bear spray and know what to do if you do have an encounter.
Note that there is only about 15-20 parking spaces here so either get here early or use the bus to get to this stop!! It is currently the end of the road for self driving as the road onwards is bus only due to a slip and even that can’t get to the very end as it won’t reopen until 2027!! If you want to go into the park further on the bus book early and know that it’s about a 5 hour round trip
