A lovely day at the beach and beach bar

点评：I am leaving this review because we very nearly didn't visit due to the less than complimentary reviews here. I am pleased to say that my daughter and I had a lovely day at this beautiful beach.
We arrived and were greeted by a friendly and personable member of staff who helped us select beds for the day dependent on how much sun and shade we wanted. We went for standard blue beds under the olive trees which offered a mix of sun and shade throughout the day. There was no need for an umbrella and these beds were 5 Euros each. There was service to the beds with no pressure and we booked a table for lunch.
Lunch was great, a little bit more expensive than elsewhere, but not by much and there was no minimum spend that we were aware of. Service was friendly and efficient.
There are rules here about bringing your own food and drink and these are clearly and widely advertised but knowing this, and being happy to play by the rules, this was no problem.
Yes, there is music but we enjoyed it and didn't find it intrusive.
At no point over the day did we experience any of the behaviours or bad atmosphere that other reviews mention towards us or any other guests.
We had a lovely, relaxing day and left well fed and happy. In total we spent around 60 Euros over the day, but could have spent less had we wanted to.
We will most definitely return when we are next on Paxos. Respect the rules and go and have a lovely beach day. Big thanks to Clay (sorry for the spelling) and the other staff members who work hard and made the day so easy and enjoyable, it was lovely to meet you.
