Fine views and an unusual baroque church

点评：Our trip here exceeded expectations. Entry was around €9 euros and there was another €3 for the audioguide. It took about an hour to go round,
The walk around and the audioguide have sections about methaphysical elements and religion and also more straightforward sections concerning the building and contents. The walk around is on three levels and your ticket scans at gates to enable progress, there is a lift available too.
The circular copy of the tabernacle is interesting as are the paintings and artefacts. Don’t miss the Danube terrace on level 2 for spectacular views of the Danube Valley and a closer view of the architecture and decoration. You enter the church from inside the monastery walls. Fantastic baroque decorations, plaster work on the ceiling and paintings of the saints. There are 2 rather gruesome skeletons in glass cabinets dressed up in religious robes. Overall it’s most impressive.
