Erlinda, who guided us throughout, was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Balinese cuisine. We learnt so much about local ingredients and cooking techniques, and it was amazing how simple (yet delicious) the dishes were — we can’t wait to try them again at home!
We cooked a wide variety of vegan dishes, and every single one was absolutely delicious — you could tell a lot of thought had gone into the vegan menu, matching the care given to the meat dishes. Breakfast was also a lovely touch, with traditional snacks, tea, and coffee to start the day.
After cooking, we got to enjoy our feast on a beautiful second-storey balcony overlooking a lush, peaceful landscape — it was the perfect setting. Despite the huge amount of food, my partner and I managed to polish it all off!
Highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Changgu, Bali — it was a truly memorable and special experience.
