点评：I recently visited this owl café in Akihabara, Tokyo, and what a wonderful experience it was. There were so many different types of owls all in one place and you have a chance to interact with them. You can stroke them gently on the head and you are allowed to hold two of them of your choice. The owls are very well cared for by the two "Owl Concierges" (i.e. keepers) and they all seemed to be very relaxed.
It is advisable to book well in advance as this is a sought after activity. The session lasts for 45 minutes and only a small number of people are allowed in at a time, so as not to disturb the owls too much. For the same reason, there is no talking, only whispering. Private sessions can also be booked.
The small number in the group also means that it is a good opportunity for a photo shoot. After all, where else can you get this close to these very cute creatures?
If you like animals and birds you absolutely have to pay this place a visit. Just one thing, don't wear your best clothes - owls are not potty-trained!
