点评：The pool is what I live for in the summer months that it is open. The pool is 50m and usually fairly quiet early in the mornings when I go and swim. The outdoor changing rooms are like a step back in time to the 50’s. Functional but the showers are always hot. They put new lockers in this year which was much needed. All we need now is a hairdryer and a swimsuit spinner. The worst part is that it is open only for a couple of months. It would be amazing if it stayed open all winter either heated or for cold water swimming. It’s such a big pool, I understand it costs a lot to heat. The deep end is so deep that one year over winter they could fill some of it in so that it didn’t hold so much water, in time for the new season. Diving isn’t allowed so no need for a deep end. The car park can be busy and the cafe is hit and miss as to whether it is open. Cleaning can be an issue too. Some days the floor and sides look positively green.
My fitness takes a dip over the winter. Swimming indoors is not so appealing.
