点评:We visited Gusto for drinks one evening while in Aruba. We were asked to give a card to be swiped so we could reorder and pay at the end. The waitress headed for the bar and I followed her as I decided I wasn't comfortable with her swiping my debit card. By the time I caught up with her she had swiped it already. I settled the round in cash, and she gave my card back.
We ordered another round and a notification popped up on my phone saying $40 was pending...the value of the round I had paid in cash. I didn't think this was strange as the waitress had swiped the card to hold the order open but said it wouldn't be charged. We had paid cash.
We ordered another round and again paid in cash, finished our drinks and left.
A few days later I checked my account and the $40 had been debited, but in the name of 'Colven'. We went back to Gusto and spoke to Peter, the Manager. He said it was nothing to do with them and they didn't know who 'Colven' were. If we hadn't actually been sitting in their establishment when the message popped through I may have believed them, but we were scammed and there was nothing we could do about it.
Someone in this place is committing fraud, so be warned.
