点评：I walked in here clearly affected by the heat outside and the staff were kind enough to direct me to some seating in the store to maximise the air conditioning and recover from the heat. After sitting for about ten minutes I started to look around and I was mesmerised by the art. There are some incredibly beautiful pieces here.
Darwin Gallery specialises in art from the Utopia Region of Central Australia and has many pieces on offer, ranging from smaller pieces, ideal for travellers and gift-seekers, to larger pieces for the collector. They also have jewellery and giftware. They explained to me that the artists must do their art as allowed by their father... it 'speaks' of their heritage.
There were a few artists that appealed to me before I settled on a piece that sang to me. I own a few pieces of aboriginal art that I procured at Uluru years ago, but this piece is distinct and different.
Another customer was an aboriginal artist and we spoke about it and she can see why it sang to me. She told me that the message is strong. I purchased a piece of art and a hand cream for my mother from the store.
Customer service was exceptional. Value was very good.
