点评:We were disappointed with the museum for 3 reasons. Firstly none of the explanatory writing is in English, which considering how many English speaking people from around the world may like to visit, then this is a big omission.
Secondly the exhibition was about the re-building of St-Nazaire after WW2 and visually was of interest, there was no exhibition to tell you about the origins of the building. My husband is interested in WW2 and wanted to see info about the building of the submarine pens and pictures of how they looked and the pens being used during the war. He was left disappointed by the lack of information.
Thirdly he wished to go to the roof to see the views, all the lifts were out of order, so limb he had to. There was no information to say the lifts were not working.
Having said all this we were impressed by the size and scale of the building. Walking in the entrance made me feel very small and overwhelmed by the building.
