Suzanne has lived in Oaxaca for 25 years. She’s bilingual, knowledgeable, and knows the heart and soul of this city. More than a tour guide, she feels like a local friend who’s excited to share her adopted home with you.
Over three days, we visited Monte Albán, Mitla, a printmaker's studio, a jewelry workshop, and a local cacao business. We also visited a mezcal ranch, where we learned about the traditional process and sampled 20 varieties (in small sips, rather than 20 drinks!) and met a traditional weaver. Suzanne also knew the best places to eat.
What I appreciated most was how Suzanne helped us make the absolute most of our time. She's a lovely person who is patient and kind. Whether you’re into history, art, food, or want to experience Oaxaca beyond the typical tourist path, Suzanne has a tour for you.
