Poor management in the restaurant and cold food

点评：We were a family of 5 for Sunday lunch. We have visited the Astbury on many occasions and have attended meals and events. I think that the quality has slipped tremendously in both food and hospitality. They seem to be providing more events at the same time, but with the same amount of staff. Our lunch took 4 1/2 hours which was shocking. The food was cold. the new restaurant manager knew that we were trying to talk to him but totally ignored us. We were never asked if everything was okay. There was often no waiting staff in the restaurant. We had to ask on four occasions where our food was or if we could order our dessert. We had to get up to find somebody to ask eventually I asked why the service was so slow and I was told that there were two other events at the same time well, I'm sorry this wasn't my issue. This was a family birthday, totally ruined. We also had a child with us so the whole situation was unhelpful. The restaurant and especially Sunday lunch used to be amazing, but on this occasion it was worse than pub food with very poor Service from the restaurant manager. Such a shame.
