点评:This place is kind of shambolic, definitely a backyardigan. But we had a great time riding along the Rio Grande on the outskirts of ABQ. Carlos, the proprietor, has been there since 1982. He has 24 horses available for trail rides, including some gaited horses. He is an irascible character, but I found him amusing. Our trail guide, Jessica, was born in ABQ but educated back east. She lives on a nearby reservation in an adobe house that her mother lived in. She was a great guide, very patient with beginners, and knowledgeable about the local flora a fauna. We saw a family of Cooper’s Hawks, and some porcupines. You also ride past some interesting farms with goats, chickens, turkeys and, of course, horses. It was a fun two hour ride, largely in the shade of the cottonwoods growing by the river and a small arroyo.
