点评：Shopping in Rochester, I went to The Ridge Marketplace for some spring shopping. One stop was at Stonewall Kitchen.
The display up front was all Stonewall Kitchen things cherry from Rum Bada Bing Cherries, Pearl Cherries, and to regular Bada Bing Cherries to Sour Cherry Jam. There were some items from the Dark Cherry Collection from Michel Designs Works.
This location was serving samples. First, I tried the Stonewall Kitchen Sriracha Ranch Dressing on a cracker. It was interesting. It had sriracha hot chilies and tangy buttermilk with some red bell pepper, onion, carrots, and smoked paprika. I liked it. It wasn’t very spicy. Another shopper sampled it, too. She took three helpings on the mini crackers served with it. I took two
Stonewall Kitchen Jalapeño Cheddar Corn Crackers were on sale $1. 98.
Nearby, I sampled the Stonewall Kitchen Reserve Wild Maine Blueberry Jam. It wasn’t too sugary. It was excellent. Next to that was a jar of Stonewall Kitchen Reserve Dour Cherry Jam to sample. Surprisingly, it was too sweet. With 50% less sugar, I would have liked it.
The Stonewall Kitchen Sea Salt Grilled Crostini Toasts were an item I hadn’t seen before. I’d have liked to try a sample.
I was hoping to find the Maine Maple Champagne Mustard on sale, but I didn’t even see the item anywhere.
So, for this time, I found two great items, one not so great, and one missing. I rate this visit at 4.0 and can recommend stopping in even if it’s just to look around because it’s always interesting to see what’s new here.
