Amazing Fort visit
Fort St Angelo的点评
点评：After seeing this fort from the Valetta side we took a short ferry ride from the lower bakara gardens area costing 9 euros return to Birgu.
The fort is a 15 minute walk along the harbour edge once you get off the ferry. We had the Maltese discount card that got us 50% discount on entry
There are plenty of steps to climb both to the entrance and the many viewing areas around the fort, but once you climbed them the view is amazing and worth all the effort
Right at the heart of the fort the highest point which allows you great views over the harbour, the 3 cities and Valetta. There is a great viewing platform and great photo opportunities. There is a hidden church and garden area toward the front of the fort.
We had a lovely drink and some snacks from the cafe on site and sat outside overlooking the harbour and Valetta and Birgu.
We spent a good few hours there and it's a must when in the area
