Ruined anniversary - bad service, they booked us on the wrong date and wouldn't come back for us even though it was only 10 minu

点评：We booked a day trip for our anniversary and waited at the dock as requested. Unfortunately, the company had booked us for the wrong date and would not ask the boat to come back for us even though we spoke to them shortly after the pick up time. This was our only trip booked for our 4 days in Fakarava and because of the cruise ships no one else can offer us any trips. We will have spent a lot of money and 4 days on what I expect is a beautiful island and I will not see it. Such a shame our anniversary was ruined and our once in a lifetime holiday has eneded on such a negative.
I have only had success communicating with this company via email, I tried WhatsApp but no repsonse and being from the UK I have a esim for data but not calls so it was impossible to contact them personally this morning, I had to ask someone at Korikori Lodge to call. In 2025 its a shame they cannot support customers with current technology, every other company in French Polynesia including Fakarava is contactable via WhatsApp.
The local community where we are staying at Una Una and Korikori Lodge as well as Vekeveke lodge have been amazing and tried to help us, cannot praise them enough, if it wasn't for them our anniversary would have been a complete disaster.
