点评：Very mixed day, first the negatives that can and should be worked upon.
You get stung for £25 insurance before you can drive, which you're probably not aware of beforehand. This needs to be communicated in advance.
The preamble talk basically boiled down to "have fun, do what the instructor tells you". Thankfully nothing hazardous occured on the day.
In the car the headset intercom didn't work both ways, so whilst the instructor could hear me, I couldn't hear him. Although I told him this he took this to mean I wasn't doing what he was asking and this never got resolved. Matters deteriorated when he seemed to believe I had something to do with insurance and how this was a waste of money. I have nothing to do with insurance but irrespective of this it really is a very poor way to treat a paying customer by making a personal grievance upon them when you're simply trying to "have fun.. " It just spoilt the day.
I expected to be given some lap times, the instructor said he hadn't taken any. So no record of the day.
The positives are, excellent old school Escort rally car very well set up, great slalom course with mix of gravel, dirt and tarmac.
