点评：This lake is a hidden treasure for visitors in surrounding counties looking for outdoor fun in nature. Tired of public swimming pools but not able to take a beach vacation this year we found a really great sandy beach With lake swimming right here at Hardy Lake. For just $7 a car load ( if you’re out of state) you can take the kids to swim and play in the sand from sun up to sun down. There are no life guards at the lake but there are park officials there to make sure you’re not going out of the roped off areas putting yourself and others in danger.
They had a huge bathroom/ shower house on site but they were locked and porta potties were set up in front of them. The water fountains were also off. There were vending machines for drinks. Plenty of room to have distance from others at the swimming part of the lake. There were grills to cook out and lots of picnic tables.
- one word of advice is if you believe you are a targeted individual and have been sensitized to headlight light harrassment the park officials driving trucks are working to make sure you’re aware that they are part of the harrassment. As soon as dark came they began spot lighting us with extra bright lights as we were gathering our things to leave. One waited for us to drive away, parked on the roadside with his headlights out and proceeded to turn his brights on to blind us while we were driving away and several trucks and cars purposely bright lighted us or shined flash lights in our face while exiting the park. In the night sky there were numerous drones watching and following.
