Do NOT Miss Hick’s Amazing Apple Orchard!

点评：My fall fantasy made real!
The spouse and I headed to Hick’s Orchard to pick and buy apples, with a secret hope (on my part) to somehow get maple syrup and blueberry jam.
Well, Hick’s had everything I hoped for and MUCH MORE.
Hick’s has an amazing apple board that lets you know which of their apples best fits your taste or your cooking needs.
Their selection of jams (all fruits grown on their property!) was so amazing in its diversity.
They had local maple syrups and local honey.
But the biggest surprise were their amazing hard ciders, served in their Slyboro tasting room. Some were reminiscent of Prosecco, others of a dry white wine. And once again, every cider (none that cloying, overly sweet cider served at Halloween parties) is made from their own produce by their exceptionally skilled staff.
And, of course, the freshly made cider donuts are not to be missed!
