点评:The beach and the Tripiti Cape (where the chair is) are incredibly quiet and serene, the views are amazing.
We parked at Korfos Beach (free parking) and followed the well defined path to Tripiti.
The path is generally easy to medium in the August heat, first 350m moderately steep, then flatish with two down/up short sections across a few ravines, some of which have wooden handrails.
We set off at 7am as it was 29 degrees at the height of the day. It’s 4km each way, we are competent walkers although a bit slow as we are 60, it was about 90 minutes each way.
Highly recommended, but …
Only two months ago a few thousand people came from Libya by small boats, and there are abandoned boats and shattered inflatables strewn all along the beach as a stark reminder of the plight of so many people desperate for a better life. It’s my first time seeing such a thing first hand and it certainly made me quite sad.
