Hill of Uisneach的点评
点评：It's taken me nearly a year to write this review and it's the first tripadvisor rating I have ever given or likely will give. The experience I (WE!) had at Uisneach was so profound, so personal, so deeply moving and insightful that I have needed all these months to process and to find words to match the deep feelings in my soul.
I never expected to come home to myself in a field on a hill in the middle of green romantic Ireland. As the sceptic accompanying a group of spiritual friends, I was expecting a nice walk and a history lesson. I never expected to connect to the spirits of the place, of the land of my ancestors and to be so completely awakened. I did not expect to be moved to tears, broken and made again and to find and develop relationships to Gods and Goddesses that had always been there but that were hidden to me before I touched the stones of the cat.
People talk about life changing experiences but this was that and more. I hope to return to Uisneach for the fire festival sometime or even for a more personal private tour. My deepest heartfelt thanks to the people who keep this place sacred, who recognize and support it's special power and place in the history and soul of the whole world. There really is nowhere like Uisneach in the whole world. My thanks also to our Shawn our amazing guide on the day. His words and passion awoke the spirit of the place and allowed us to connect on such a profound level, his knowledge made it all so real and personal and his fire stayed with us long after we returned home. He held space for us in a way that I imagine people travel to the depths of India or Tibet to otherwise experience. Truly a powerful Druid holding the door to a powerful place.
