点评:We visited Horner Woods for the first time on Wed 6th Sept with a group of friends from Kent and our dogs. We had downloaded and mapped out a circular walk to do, following the trail back along the river. This was a hot day and when we finally made the steep descent down to the river, we were diappointed to see a barrier saying Ash Die Back - No Entry. Needless to say, we then had to climb back up a very steep hill in order to follow a path until we could get back down to the river. Although the walk and woods was stunning, it was far too hot for the dogs and we were keen to get them in the shade by the water. All we asked was that there was some clear signage before we actually started our walk stating the barrier closures and we would then have mapped out a slightly different route.
