点评:The track was relatively easy overall, but I’d recommend at least a moderate level of fitness as there are a lot of stairs, many of them uneven with rocks. Luckily, there are plenty of flatter sections between the steps to catch your breath. 😊
There’s no fencing along some sections of the path, so take care, especially with kids, as it would be easy to step too close to the edge in some spots. Some sections are also quite narrow, so on a busier day, you may need to step aside for people coming the other way.
The return walk took my fiance and I about an hour at a steady pace, with a stop at the top to soak in the absolutely stunning views, definitely worth it 🙌
At the summit, you can scramble up a few extra rocks on the left for an even higher viewpoint, but it’s not essential to enjoy the scenery.
A few tips:
Wear proper shoes with good grip, my running shoes were fine, but hiking shoes would be safer if it’s wet, as the rocks can get slippery.
Bring water.
There are no toilets at the start. The nearest ones are a few kilometres away, just check Google Maps.
Parking was easy on a weekday after rain, but I can see it filling up quickly on weekends or sunny days.
Overall, a beautiful and rewarding hike that should be suitable for most people with reasonable fitness. 😊
