点评:We have been to about two dozen cellar doors in the Barossa Valley and find that they generally fall into two groups: (i) wineries run by large corporations that are only interested in getting as much money as possible and (ii) family-run wineries that are proud of who they are and the wines they produce. Kalleske is definitely in the second category. We were hosted by an eight-generation member of the family named Amber who was a fantastic host, introducing us not only to the Kalleske wines (which were excellent) but to the history of the winery, the family and the cellar door itself. This was the first cellar door we visited on our trip and frankly I wish we had visited it later in the week, as we would have understood how good it really was. I would put this in the top 5 of the cellar doors we visited and would recommend anyone travelling to the Barossa to visit Kalleske.
