Magical honeymoon

点评：Wow, I can’t think of enough superlatives to do justice to the amazing week we had in South Africa and Eswatini arranged through Impi.
The communication from the outset was great and Niel arranged a fantastic week for us.
We were met by our brilliant tour guide (JP), his partner Helen and our amazing driver (Chad) at Johannesburg Airport and whisked off to start our journey. We stopped for a great lunch and then spent the afternoon going through the stunning scenery via gorges, waterfalls and all the time having the rich history and landscape expertly explained by JP. First night and a sumptuous dinner was in Graskop, washed down with quality SA wine. The next day we headed towards Kruger via more stunning views of waterfalls, beautiful native wildlife and on into Kruger.
The days in Kruger were magical, again with expert guidance from JP we saw all manner of wildlife, Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, vultures, Impala, eagles….you get the picture.
On to Eswatini….we didn’t know what to expect, but what a beautiful gem of a country, we were blown away. We were very fortunate, whilst on an early morning walk to come within 5 metres of a family of giraffes and then, by the watering hole at Hlane National Park, whilst watching white rhino 200m away, a pair of rhino walked out of the bush 20m away from us - I’ll admit, I was a bit intimidated, to say the least, but with JP at our side, we came away unscathed - what a special experience. The best was left for the last night, we stayed at Reilly’s Rock - if you have the chance to go, then don’t hesitate, it was simply stunning. The views and rich history are incredible - and we even got to meet Ted Reilly at sunrise on our last day - we will definitely be going back. Thank you Impi for making our honeymoon so special.
