I purchased 2 Chanel’s Éclat Premier Foam Cleanser at Hankyu Umeda Main store in May 2025. After only three months of careful use, the lid started peeling badly — something I did not expect from a luxury brand.
When I contacted the store by email, the Chanel counter manager’s reply was overly official & evasive, stressing only that the goods were authentic while avoiding the obvious packaging defect. This response was unsatisfactory and not what I would expect from Chanel or such a prestigious department store.
I also noticed that the new formula seems to run out much faster than before — previously one tube lasted me around nine months, but this time it is nearly finished in just three months. obviously with the same use method. This raises questions about the product’s value and consistency.
⚠️ If you are considering purchasing this product, be aware that the packaging quality may not match the luxury image. And especially at this store, the after-sales customer service was failed to address the issue properly. so think twice before paying for it.
