Visit the Lincoln Guildhall where Richard the II, Henry the VIII, Elizabeth the I and Elizabeth the II visited.

点评：I've been to Lincoln many times and have visited most of the historic sites and thought I had a good prospective on the city of Lincoln until I visited the Guildhall.
It began with being greeted by our guide outside the front door of the Guildhall who gave us a few quick insite into the location which is where the Roman wall, that surrounded the city, once stood.
Then we were lead into the Guildhall and for the next 80 minutes we were treated to the unique history of governing a city that was extremely important, especially in medieval times. There were portraits of Kings and Queens who visited Lincoln over time, presented with wonderful stories related to each visit.
There is also a room, the old jail, that holds gifts to the city that cover hundreds of years along with the Charters presented to the city by most of the Kings and Queens over Lincolns long history.
Our guide was fantastic and encourage us to ask questions which made the tour even more personal.
And, its FREE!! Best historical value in Lincoln.
