Super holiday, need some activities that don’t cost money for kids

点评：Well I stayed there for Four weeks with a teenager and two boys 10&12. Weather was ok most of the time, did usual stuff walking by the beach, got an app and did some hikes locally, got all the
Brochures and went to all the places on them. The local shop is
V expensive and so are the
Local cafes (staffing is a bit hit and miss) food at mojos was expensive for
Families pancakes were nice once or twice only as v sweet. Service on the whole good there. Pharmacy is ok, KLM hair dressers nearby is ok too. Very little to do there unless you know People or are willing to pay €100 a go for your
Kids to do lessons. Best but
Was the surf shop. My kids liked the food, the teenager liked the clothes on sale, I liked and trusted the fun sports instructors who were great with my kids. A cracking business they have there. I think Rhosneigor really needs a decent
Large playground for parents of kids to meet and get together for free. I don’t think that parting with money in pubs and
Restaurants and hire shops should be the only way for
People to meet up. Good if there was a more active meet up group for beach walking or some such. If
Your not beachy there seems to be a €100 glass workshop which seems pricey for an hour or two. The beach is
Gorgeous but in Ireland you often go out with a little bag and pick up plastic as you leave for the day. I found my little bag v full every day which is such a
Pity. Didn’t see much in the way of lifeguards around, kite surfing people incredible to look at. Lots and lots of houses but other than the exercise classes in the village hall (v reasonably priced) and a bit of bingo I didn’t see much for
People to actually do that was low cost. It’s designed for
Tourists who are beachy and spendy and not there
For V long I think. Great walk near the oyster catcher round a little lake, great for
Younger kids. The rip in the current is one to watch out
For, can’t leave kids just run and swim, you need to be in there with them. Sunset incredible. What Else? Lidl in Holyhead is a good
Place to get supplies. They have veg boxes for €1.50. Yum. Big
Box full of fruit and
Veg. We got two and couldn’t get through it all. I suggest they figure out something for teenagers to do that doesn’t revolve around alcohol in the evenings. Do teens do discos anymore? Am I not hip? Probably not. My teenager was bored outside the private lessons so I had to import pals from Ireland to cheer her up. My accommodation was with Angelsea Lettings. When I enquired why there was no washing
Machine, dryer, saucepans or peeler in the v v expensive rental: they said: no messing: you never specified you needed a
Washing machine. I booked a three bed apartment for
Me and My kids for five Weeks. I spent the entire holiday ferrying to and from the
Money gobbling Revolut
Machine which may or May not Work but Always Ate money. I spent €250 so far on laundry! I moved the
Mattress of one
Bed and two positive covid tests feel out of the bed (not
Mine) the
Blinds were
Mouldy and I had
To ask housekeeping to give the place another Clean when I arrived (I’m not picky but the Blinds were a bit black). No parking either so had
To take
My chances in side
Streets and
By streets which was frustrating with kids. This was not
A cheap rental either - several thousand pounds.
So Rhosneigor is gorgeous, needs some more things for
Kids to do that doesn’t involve
Lots of Cash (we missed out on the kids club for august which looks like it Would be amazing in fairness) . Check out
The fine print when booking a rental. Ask stupid questions

Shower etc . I love wales and I love Rhosneigor , friemdly and safe.
