点评：We read about the Mirror Man as we toured Scotland, but were not sure where this statue now stood. Originally in Loch Earn we read it had been removed. As Loch Earn was just off our route from Loch Lomond to Oban we took the chance and went to St. Fillans.
As we drove into the town there he was standing proud a solitary figure of Still at the head of a Loch Earn. The figure by Rob Mulholland is there to symbolise the physical and spiritual relationship between humans and the natural wilderness, and what a great place to place it. The view of the loch is stunning, with the Mirror Man front and centre. The figure is meant to be in a constant flux; made from pieces of steel the small panels that form the sculpture are being torn away with the prevailing wind, re-shaped by the natural forces. Still investigates the fundamental aspects of self awareness and our connection with our environment.

We discovered later that "Still" had only just been replaced in the loch. It was well worth the detour and something we were glad we had not missed.
