A great way to see Croatia and Slovenia

点评：When searching for ways to visit Croatia and Slovenia that did not involve group tours I came across PDG Tours. Their 16 day Beauty of Croatia and Neighbouring Countries itinerary on the website covered most of what I wanted to see on my first visit. However, only having done a private tour with other people I was hesitant, as this time it was just my husband and me but after reading the reviews of the company, I decided to email the owner, Mato Perajica.
That was one of the best travel decisions I have made. He immediately replied with full details of what was included, the alternative vehicles and the cost. Changing two days of the itinerary to include Korcula was no problem. In fact, nothing was a problem for Mato - I could contact him by email or WhatsApp with any queries and he would make hotel/restaurant bookings if I wished.
Mato was not our driver/guide for our 17 days tour - we were fortunate to have Tomislav with us. He was fantastic - kind, thoughful and good fun. We shared coffee most mornings and had some meals together, he was always punctual and is an excellent driver and guide, explaining details of Croatian history and the sights we visited. After a short time we felt like we were being driven around by a friend not a tour guide.
From our experience we cannot recommend PDG Tours highly enough.
